That's Pretty Much It

I'm Arafat Eham, a Diploma Engineering student and web developer from Faridpur, Bangladesh. I work with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Python, mostly on projects I thought up myself and built from scratch. Some are live. Some are still a work in progress. None of them came from a tutorial I just copied and pasted.

Since May 2024, I've been volunteering with the Bangladesh Red Crescent Society in Faridpur, helping with youth programmes, community outreach, and disaster response coordination. It's not always exciting work, but it's real and it matters to people. In 2025, the Faridpur District Unit gave me the Best Volunteer award. I wasn't expecting it. I was just trying to be useful.

I want to end up in cybersecurity. That's the honest, unglamorous version of the plan. Every skill I pick up and every project I finish is quietly pointed in that direction, even when it doesn't look like it yet.

I handle the full process from layout to code and getting it live without the bloat. I also do freelance digital marketing consulting for travel and tourism businesses in Faridpur, which is a smaller niche than it sounds but keeps me sharp on the strategy side.

It's just become part of the week.

No structured curriculum, no waiting for the right course — just problems worth solving and documentation open in another tab. This portfolio site runs on a custom Blogger-integrated setup built from scratch, which taught more than any tutorial would have.
